SHIPPING POLICY

Order Processing

Orders are generally processed within 48 business hours unless otherwise stated.

Processing times may vary during holidays, product launches, promotions, inventory delays, weather events, or high-volume periods.


Shipping Costs

Shipping is NOT free unless explicitly stated in a written promotion.

Customers are responsible for all shipping-related costs, including but not limited to:

  • Standard shipping
  • Freight shipping
  • Pallet shipping
  • Residential delivery fees
  • Liftgate fees
  • Carrier surcharges
  • Insurance charges
  • Return shipping costs

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.


Risk of Loss

Once an order leaves our facility and is transferred to a shipping carrier, risk of loss transfers to the purchaser.

Hill Country Hemp is not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays
  • Lost packages
  • Damaged shipments caused by carriers
  • Carrier routing issues
  • Delivery delays due to weather or external events

Customers must contact the shipping carrier directly regarding transit-related issues.


STATE SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

We comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding hemp-derived cannabinoid products.

Although certain hemp products may be federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, some states restrict or prohibit cannabinoids including but not limited to:

  • Delta-8 THC
  • Delta-9 Hemp THC
  • THC-A
  • Other hemp-derived cannabinoids

Because laws frequently change:

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel shipments to restricted states or jurisdictions
  • Orders shipping to restricted states may be canceled at any time prior to shipment
  • Customers are solely responsible for understanding their local laws before ordering

PRODUCTION TIMES & BACKORDERS

Some products are manufactured, packaged, labeled, or prepared to order.

Production timelines may range from:

  • 2 to 4 weeks
  • Up to 30 days depending on inventory, manufacturing schedules, custom orders, or demand

As a result:

  • Products may enter backorder status
  • Orders may ship in multiple shipments
  • Machine deliveries may arrive separately from consumable products or accessories

Customers purchasing commercial machine bundles or promotional packages may be assigned a sales representative.

Sales support may include:

  • Shipping updates

Support availability may vary.


HOME USE RESPONSIBILITY

If products or machines are purchased for personal or home use:

  • You are responsible for complying with all local laws and ordinances
  • You are responsible for any permits, licensing, or legal requirements in your area
  • Hill Country Hemp is not liable for how products are used after delivery

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hill Country Hemp sells consumable products and equipment. Due to the nature of these items, returns and refunds are limited.

All sales are considered final unless explicitly approved in writing by Hill Country Hemp.


DRINKS & CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS

Consumable products may only qualify for return if ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • Product is unopened
  • Original seal is intact
  • Packaging is original
  • Entire case is complete
  • Return approval is issued prior to shipment back to us

The following items are NOT eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened products
  • Used products
  • Products with broken seals
  • Partial cases
  • Mixed cases
  • Tampered items
  • Clearance items
  • Promotional products

Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to sender at customer expense.


FLOWER SALES POLICY

All hemp flower, pre-rolls, loose flower, THC-A flower, infused flower products, and smokable hemp products are FINAL SALE.

No returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted under any circumstances once purchased.

This applies regardless of:

  • Product preference
  • Aroma or taste complaints
  • Effect expectations
  • Incorrect orders placed by customer
  • Delivery delays
  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Opened or unopened condition

By purchasing flower products from Hill Country Hemp or Hemp-A-Rita, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All flower sales are final
  • No exceptions will be made unless required by applicable law
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions carefully before purchasing

Unauthorized return shipments of flower products may be refused and returned to sender at customer expense.


RETURN SHIPPING

If a return is approved:

  • The customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs back to Hill Country Hemp
  • Freight return charges are the responsibility of the customer
  • Insurance and carrier fees are the responsibility of the customer
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

RESTOCKING FEE

All approved returns, canceled orders, refused shipments, and customer order mistakes are subject to a mandatory 25% restocking fee.

This applies even if:

  • The order is canceled within 24 hours
  • The order has not shipped yet
  • The order was placed accidentally
  • The customer changes their mind

Merchant processing fees, packaging expenses, inventory handling, and operational costs occur immediately and are not reversible.


MACHINE BUNDLE & GIFT CARD POLICY

Certain promotions, starter kits, or commercial bundles may include:

  • Gift cards
  • Promotional credits
  • Machine allowances
  • Reimbursements
  • Incentive credits

These items are intended solely for the purchase of approved commercial equipment or machines.

By purchasing a machine bundle package, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The gift card or allowance must be used toward machine or equipment purchases only
  • Failure to use the gift card toward the intended machine purchase does NOT qualify the associated order, bundle, or consumable products for return or refund
  • All machine bundle sales are final
  • Gift cards, promotional credits, reimbursements, and allowance items are non-refundable and carry no cash value

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Gift cards
  • Promotional credits
  • Machine allowances
  • Branding services
  • Custom items
  • Promotional bundle components

MACHINES & EQUIPMENT

Machines and equipment are NOT eligible for return if they have been:

  • Opened
  • Used
  • Installed
  • Modified
  • Damaged after delivery

Once opened, installed, or operated, machines are considered non-returnable.


MACHINE WARRANTY

Machines may include a limited 12-month manufacturer defect warranty unless otherwise stated.

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • User-caused damage
  • Improper operation
  • Neglect or misuse
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Electrical damage
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Damage caused during transport after delivery
  • Commercial misuse outside intended operation

If a machine experiences a qualifying warranty issue, the machine may be serviced, repaired, or evaluated pursuant to manufacturer warranty guidelines.

Used machines are NOT eligible for refunds.


CUSTOMER ORDER MISTAKES

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details before checkout.

If the wrong item is ordered:

  • The 25% restocking fee still applies
  • Shipping charges are not refundable
  • Processing fees cannot be reversed
  • Cancellation requests are not guaranteed

Please verify your order carefully before submitting payment.


REFUND PROCESSING

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed only after product inspection and approval
  • Applicable fees, shipping charges, merchant processing fees, freight expenses, and restocking fees will be deducted
  • Refund timelines vary depending on banking institutions and payment processors
